Outdoor Learning at John Keble C of E Primary School

At John Keble C of E Primary School, we believe that learning should go beyond the classroom walls. Every child, from Year R to Year 6, takes part in Forest School, where they develop essential life skills such as risk-taking, bushcraft, negotiation, and turn-taking.

We know that children learn best when they are active and engaged, and that learning can happen anywhere. That’s why we incorporate outdoor learning across our entire curriculum, making the most of our stunning school grounds every single day. From exploring nature to applying classroom concepts in real-world settings, our outdoor spaces inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning.
