Success for our JK cricket Team!
On Tuesday 28th April, our JK cricket team took part in a large cricket festival at St Cross Cricket Ground, joining 17 schools for a day of high‑quality cricket. Our players grew in confidence throughout the day, supporting and encouraging one another at every stage.
After finishing top of their pool in the morning matches, they progressed to the semi‑finals against Twyford St Mary’s, securing a brilliant win to book their place in the final. The final itself was a superb match to watch, with JK triumphing by the narrowest of margins — a fantastic 4‑run victory.
This was an outstanding performance from an exceptional team. We are incredibly proud of the way they played, the resilience they showed, and the way they lifted each other up, even in challenging moments.
The team will now go on to represent Winchester and District in the Hampshire Finals at the Utilita Bowl in June.
